Underneath the Marshmallow Tree

We dream of the past, the present and the future. We dream of glorious colors and swirling sounds that surround us. We dream of greatness and tenderness. Dreams can take us places. This song invites us to fly through the nighttime sky and dream together. It is dedicated to the magical world of music that I've been lucky enough to share with so many musical friends -- To the rocket ship daydreams and swallows (golondrinas!) in flight!

Diving into crystal clear seas

Floating through a lavender breeze

Rocketship daydreams flying o’er a sea of green

Underwater castles made of sea and sand

Spiral cloud staircases rising through the land

Wherever we wanna go, we’ll go hand in hand

And we’ll sing these melodies (la la la la)

And ramble through the breeze (ooh ooh ooh)

We’ll close our eyes (la la la la)

And the sound comes alive

Underneath the marshmallow tree

You and me, we’ll meet in a dream

Underneath the marshmallow tree

We’ll fly through the nighttime sky

I can be a blackbird, singin’ into the night

A sparrow or a mockingbird, a swallow taking flight

As long as we’re together, we’ll be alright

And we’ll sing these melodies (la la la la)

And ramble through the breeze (ooh ooh ooh)

We’ll close our eyes (la la la la)

And the sound comes alive

Underneath the marshmallow tree

You and me, we’ll meet in a dream

Underneath the marshmallow tree

We’ll fly through the nighttime sky
